Universal weatherproofing kit for connectors and antennas in telecom site
Description.The use of this kit provides an reliable moisture sealing for antenna cable connections, it provides an efficient moisture block and connector's protection against pollution and dust. It also prevents loosening of connectors from vibration or other external stresses which would eventually allow moisture penetration. The sealed connection is suitable for typical exposed and buried cable application. The kit can be used for one or more connections depending on the configuration and cable type. Standard weatherproofing tapes consists butyl and PVC electrical tapes which is applied using a multi-layer wrapping procedure to create a long-term environmental seal for main feed, jumper, and antenna connections., are applied to the following:• Main feeder cable-to-jumper cable connection• Jumper cable-to-antenna connection.
