The core is removed after the tube has been positioned for installation, allowing the tube to shrink and form a water-resistant seal.

SCS-**-LUG series is special use for cable terminal lug and AWG cable. It can replace heat shrinkable tube for sealing and waterproof of AC&DC wire and lug. This transparent silicone rubber allow the Connection status of the wire and lug can be easily confirmed by visual inspection. The cold shrink tube also protecting the wire and lug interface from loosening over time due to vibration.
