IBS & DAS is an RF design architecture that distributes RF signal from a Lone base station to every localized area through multiple antenna locations, such as throughout a building.

IBS is solutions that provides mobile coverage inside buildings and help avoid dropped calls and to provide your customers with seamless wireless service, especially in high-traffic areas for voice as well as 3G data applications where the coverage, capacity or quality otherwise would not had been satisfactory. It can include both cellular standards such as GSM, WCDMA, CDMA2000 and/or non-cellular standards like for example Wireless LAN and Bluetooth.

IBS overcomes the deficiencies of an RF design that uses only BTS sites in the network. IBS does not replace the need for standard macro cellular network, but it primarily used to supplement the macro-cell network and to provide coverage that may otherwise not be possible due to attenuation of signal due to walls and other obstacles.
